i found a copy of beauty and the beast at wal-mart today, on vhs hasn't this been oop for a while? my 3 year old had to have it because we did not have it, i just thought it was odd.

i think i got my dvd copy just last year. it was a reissue 'special edition' or something.

The special edition was released on DVD and VHS not too long ago.

According to amazon.com the VHS was released October 8, 2002 and discontinued January 31, 2003. Maybe Wal-Mart had some extra stock they just found?

Great find anyway! My favorite movie We have it on VHS and DVD LOL.
