Ok, so I don't count well. I had a bunch of "not so busy" time at work today so I thought "What the heck. Give Disney a call and see if you can make the ressies today." So I did. Of course, I forgot my confirmation number, and, since I am renting DVC points, it's not so easy to look it up. This is how this went for me.
Call #1 - On hold for about 10 minutes which, in the scheme of Disney dining, is not long at all. I got a lovely CM who said she would call Member services and try to find me. She was able to pull up the reservation but, since I couldn't confirm Rob's address, she couldn't let me make reservations. Ok, I confirmed MY name, MY address, and Rob's name but I don't know his address so I can't MAKE dining reservations?

I wasn't trying to cancel anything so I don't know why she needed all that confirmation BUT, the CM was just doing her job so I thanked her and hung up.
Call #2 - I texted Rob and got his address and called dining back. I spent only about 2 minutes on hold. This time, I got a very nice gentleman CM. I explained the results of call #1 and asked him to try member services to pull up the reservation. He, however, was not able to find me in the computer at all.

I am a bit scared but I thank him for his time and hang up.
Call #3 - I called dining back immediately and the call was answered with NO time on hold. (Moral of the story, call Disney Dining at about 11:30 on Sunday mornings. I guess everyone else is doing something else at that time.) This CM was able to find my reservation all on her own!!

And then is was on to make the actual dining reservations. I really only wanted 2 - breakfast at Crystal Palace and a late lunch at 50's Prime Time. I got my first choice for both!!!

Woo hoo!!!! Now I just have to wait for the actual vacation. I am literally counting the days.
