Is it my imagination?? Or did Dollar go up a lot for August?

I made my reservation three months ago and I got a full size vehicle for $109+ taxes a week. Just yesterday I checked again and with or without codes, the same class car for the same dates is $169+tax.
Also my airfare is up to $349 pp , I only paid $178.
Oh yeah, I feel I got such a bargain.!!

I also would love to know what the story is with Dollar. I went to their website this morning and saw a rate of $20.99 per day for what I needed. Didn't take time to book then, wish I had, because now when I went back this afternoon, the same thing is $51.99 per day! Is this fluctuation normal? Might it go back down tomorrow?

Simba I don't know if this would help but I noticed that no matter what code you put in to the reservation with dollar , the price is always the same, maybe you should call them and ask.
I think they have gone up a lot !!
