Is it midnight EST for Fastpass selection?

I am arriving January 31st, and I believe I can make my fastpass selections at midnight (in a few hours from now). I am already tired, and I was wondering if it is midnight EST or midnight my time (Central) when the window opens?

Using EST gets confusing - it's not EST in the summer, it's EDT.

Just finished FP selections for our January 31 trip. Couldn't believe how many times were not available!! And no FP for Flights of wonder......what?! Wasn't looking for a FP for Flights of Wonder but we never miss it. Hope it's still a walk in! Really disappointed, especially at Epcot. Have to rework everything.

I saw that too, odd that Flights wasn't an option! Kali isn't going to be open either I noticed (that might be common knowledge but I had only seen it mentioned as a rumor somewhere). Of course I don't know that I'd want to be that soaked in Feb anyway.

Everything I wanted was available, and then after I got something time wise, for each day I went back and changed the times to my liking... and I had zero problems finding times for anything. I even got 7DMT both times I wanted, once early/mid day and once in the dark on another day.

Out of curiosity, what types of things were you going after...

I did ...
MK = 7DMT (2x), Space Mt, Dig Thunder (x2), Jungle cruise
Epcot = Test Track (x2), Spaceship Earth (x2), Seas (x2)
DHS = Toy Story, Star Wars, Indy

A quick check of the FP's I looked at, obviously limited to the days/parks I have selected idd show some interesting limitations. While 7dmt was available pretty much any time (1:10am!), Anna and Else was nearly full on one day and lots of availability on the other. Space Ship earth was booked for both days before noon. Apparently everyone rides it first thing in the morning.. me too.. Test track was available throughout the day still. Apparently the crowds who are NOT doing soarin are also not automatically flooding over to test track.

EST which worked out great for me on the west coast. I got to make mine at 9:00. I was so excited!!

Everything I wanted was available, and then after I got something time wise, for each day I went back and changed the times to my liking... and I had zero problems finding times for anything. I even got 7DMT both times I wanted, once early/mid day and once in the dark on another day.

I had this experience, and I didn't even wait up until midnight, I did everything yesterday morning around 7am EST. Got everything we wanted, including 7DMT twice and TT twice, and was able to move times around to when we wanted them. A&E was even available, although we aren't interested so I don't know what the times looked like.

Kali and Splash are normally scheduled for refurb in Jan/Feb every year due to usually chillier weather.

I make my FP selections tonight so I was glad to hear that for some there are lots of times available! Did anyone try to get any FP's for parades/fireworks? Just wondering how those were looking.

Feb 1 - TSM, TT, Muppets.
Feb 2 - EE, Dinosaur, Safari
Feb 3 - Spaceship Earth, Figment, TT
Feb 4 - Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, BTMR

Got what we wanted but big holes in schedule some days because times were not available. Just not enough selection at Epcot and DHS.

Got all I wanted too!! Although I was not happy with my A&E time it was the only one available so I'll take it!
