or does it seem that the work at SOG is not going to fast,Do you really think they will be done by march?

I totally agree. I check the progress on their web site every couple of days and nothing ever really seems to change. We are not checking in until the end of June so I fully expect everything to be done by then. One does have to wonder, though.

My husband played golf at Magnolia last week. After he played he stopped by to see the proprietor of the "On the Run" coffee cart that used to be in the entry way to SOG. He asked what they know about occupancy date, as they will have an expanded space in the renovated SOG. They said that per SOG management, the old portion of the hotel will be ready for occupancy March 1; the new part by mid-May. Although it is second hand, I have confidence in this source.

I look at the webcam everyday. It does look like they are getting some accomplished....I think once they get the landscaping in, it will look much better. I'm willing to bet that the inside is already complete, since weather shouldn't stop that from happening.

I think several people have called them, asking the same question, and as of yet, it's a go.

WE ARE HOPING IT GETS DONE, 24 OF US ARE GOING DOWN JULY 1ST AND I THINK IT WILL BE A NITEMARE IF WE HAVE TO FIND SOMEPLACE ELSE,NOT ONLY THAT BUT MORE $$$$$$$$.
