Or is everyone having problems getting your DVC points info online? I have been trying for a couple of days but it keeps saying site is unavailable!
Ideas??
 
The vacation detail portion of the site is down. The entire points portion is down intermittenly for upgrade/maintenance.
 
I had no problems last night. And was awfully surprised to see that they had allotted the correct points to our next trip. Since we wanted to use all our bank and only some current and some borrow, it was pretty confusing just tellin them what I wanted to do. I thought for sure I was going to have to call back and have it corrected. But they got it right the first time.
 
It still isn't working for me this morning. I wonder how many nights it will take for them to get the site up and running correctly again?
 

I haven't been able to view my vacation details for almost 2 weeks now. I hope they really are upgrading to a better system. They obviously need it.
 
I haven't been able to see the "my membership" portion for about 2 weeks. I sent 2 emails and finally got a response on Monday -- it said I'd be able to access the "my membership" tab on Tuesday....today's Friday and I still can't get into it.
 
I can't get in either... I get stressed when they are upgrading... I am afraid my vacations will disappear.:scared1:
 
Here's something that you can try:

  • Log onto DVCmember.com
  • Click on "my vacation points"
  • Click on "view activity statement". This will be found next to "view vacation details"
  • At the top of the page, right below "Points Activity Statement" click on "view printer friendly version"

Voila. It's not as good as "view vacation details" but it's something.

Are you using Firefox by any chance? I have to manually remove cookies for DVC site before I can log in using Firefox, and even then "vacation details" doesn't work.
 
It's like I've been saying since day one... the site stinks.

Makes me wonder if they really have a waitlist system that work, too, or if I'm wasting my time with it. Technology isn't DVC's strong point.
 
Been 2 weeks here too. I'm waiting for my waitlist for 11/10 to come through and it's driving me nuts not being able to see it online. :confused3
 
Sometimes when I try to login - I get a new page that says the DVC is unavailable......but.....if I click on the link 'Member Login' at the top right of the page - ta da!! Then I get my DVC home page. Makes no sense to me but that's the way I login most of the time.

If you get the 'sorry - unavailable' page, try clicking on the 'member login'. I wonder how many other DVCers log in that way.

I thought there was some kind of automation that regularly scanned and sought out matches for a wait list. However when I recently called to check availability for a new reservation, I was told that I might have a match on my waitlist for another reservation. Needless to say, I told them I'd take it. I was then informed that because there might be a match doesn't mean there is a match. Huh? As far as I'm cocerned, there is or there isn't. It was then explained to me that there are people who look for matches for waitlists. After all the problems with the member site not working, of which there is no excuse, and then being told this, I have lost any confidence I had in the waitlist. I suggest that if you're waiting and hoping, that you call in from time to time to see if something might have matched.

Been trying to pay my pro-rated annual dues online since yesterday and I always get the "We're sorry. The page you are trying to access is currently not available." message. It seems part of the site is functioning while others are not. I wonder if they are having a databse issue in regards to the dues and points...
 
Try again and if you get the same page with the same message - click on the 'Member's Login' link at the top right of the page. It will take you to your home DVC page. I know it doesn't make sense but that's the way it works for me most of the time!
 
Still trying to get into members page. I have had a problem for a couple of weeks and just tried again. Going crazy trying to find out what I have for avail points so I can be prepared to book next yrs trip.
