No, you are correct. Right now, here in SW Wisconsin, our reads -7. To think it was just 8 days ago we were at Fort Wilderness. Bbbbbrrrrrrrr. Think Spring. I know it is out there. Could somebody please ship it north. Way north!!

It's 6 here and feels like -6 with windchill. I think every winter I try to get my DH to move to FL and every summer I say, well it would be hard to leave our family. This winter I've decided that we just need to move during the winter and get it done so we can't change our minds. I don't know if I would be able to handle living somewhere that has a "real" winter.

Today is not exactly warm...we've been dropping to the 30s at night and not rising above the 50s, which is a big improvement over your numbers up north, but still a shock to the systems of us native Floridians. We are used to cold snaps lasting only hours, not days in a row.

I have to say that standing on the dock at the Grand Floridian, glass of wine in hand and watching the fireworks was pretty special last night - so nice I thought I'd try it again tonight even though I'll have to wear a jacket!
