As usual, I made my reservations a few months ago.
- Reservation 1 for 4/28 - 5/3 at HRH: Platinum upgrade to King Suite
- Reservation 2 for 10/9 - 10/14 at RPR: Platinum upgrade to King Suite.
I initially made both reservations with the AAA rate and received a confirmation email almost immediately.
Then, when the Super Saver rates came out, I switched rates for both reservations.
I never got a confirmation email for either rate change; however, I wasn't too worried about it since when I "retrieved reservation" on the Net Booker site, it showed the correct Super Saver rate with my King Suite confirmed. I have to say that this was back in December? Maybe January?
So, yesterday as in 2 months later, I get a confirmation email for my reservation at the RPR out of the blue. Except that it has me paying $315/night instead of the $199.80 I'm supposed to be paying
worship: All hail LF Platinum benefits!). Sometimes this happens when you FIRST make your reservation because the email was sent before the upgrade was applied. But, 2 months later, I'm all "huh?" I retrieve my reservation from the Net Booker site, and this also says my rate is $315.
I call and explain the situation, and the reservationist is baffled. She gets a supervisor who changes my rate back to $199.80 and sends me an email from Special Services to confirm the RPR rate for October. Cool.
Except that that email triggered a re-send confirmation of my HRH reservation for April/May, and sweet Lord Jesus in heaven, don't they want to now charge me $399 per night, when it's supposed to be $225.40 per night? (Again,

I make my second phone call of the day to tell them what happened and to have them make sure that if I get another confirmation from HRH that that won't set off a rate increase at the RPR.
Less than 12 hours later, so far so good with my rates being correct on the Net Booker site (but no email confirmation from HRH), but I'll be retrieving my reservations regularly to make sure they don't change again, especially before I leave in a month.
Am I the only one this is happening too? Perhaps they did a batch update of some kind yesterday?
