Twice I have just called out ofthe blue to add 1900 and got it. Is there a reason this does not close up like the castle?

I think it's still pretty new, so word hasn't gotten out too much PLUS it's not in the castle, and some people have to eat in the castle =)

It's taken awhile for PSB to get popular, as well.

Glad you got in when you wanted to!!!

We've never had ANY problem making a ressie there. Actually, I've never had a problem with a ressie anywhere! (maybe had to change my preferred time by 15-30 minutes, no big deal). For the past few years we have gone to WDW over Memorial weekend (kinda busy). No problems.

I called about a month ago and got dinner for 2 at 1900 Park Fare no problem. Of course I was very flexible with my PS time. I usually am with all the times. I just give them a time I would like and they tell me the closest they have to it. :)

While we were at WDW recently, I was able to change our PS with little notice. I'd hoped to get an earlier time for the PS or move it to a different night (I wanted to be able to go for the parade and Wishes at MK). Our original PS was for Tuesday at 7:35 and there were no earlier times for that night. We did get a PS for Monday but only had 7:20 available. I took it but would have preferred an earlier time.

So, it seems like if you are flexible on day and time, you can often get one close to the time you'll be eating there. If, though, you need an earlier time, it might be harder.

BTW - I was very pleased with the quality of the food we had. I'm not always too impressed with buffet food but the food here had good flavor and the pasta wasn't overcooked (common when it's cooked in large quantities and kept warm for awhile).

In January, I just walked up right after they opened at 4:30, and got a table imediately. No problem at all. The CM said it was really booked later, so good thing I came very early. It was a very nice dinner and buffet, and had 5 different charatcers out meeting (Cinderella, Prince, 2 mice Suzy and Perla, and Fairy Godmother). :)

I called about 6 weeks ahead to get 1900 and they only had one PS available which was at 8:10 p.m.

Not ideal for a three year old and five year old, but it is my daugters birthday so I took it.
