currently have long running dispute with Post Office over (non) redirection of mail..........paid for this (£66) to start from 1st september and despite numerous calls and visits to delivery office its STILL not happening.......customer services (HUH) dont reply to my calls either...


also having probs with Barclays Bank as I paid in 2 cheques for over £1000 last week with the express facility...theyre not showing on my account and nobody seems to know where theyve gone!!!!!!!!!!.....customer services (HUH again) not yet returned my calls................


just realised Inland revenue have cancelled my child tax credit for Becky even though I informed them she was staying on at school.................

the bed I ordered still hasnt been delivered.....................

....but the bedroom furniture has......................BUT minus 2 drawer fronts!!!!!!!!!




....see? teaching will be a doddle after all this!!!!!!!:crazy:

Does anyone else have any of these problems or is it just me??:rolleyes: :( :charac2: :sad:
 
I thought things like this only happened to us Mandy. Doesn't matter what it is we always seem to have trouble getting decent service. Hope you get things sorted soon.
 
How stressful Mandy :(

Definitely time to get it all down in writing for each problem...... (not so sure about the bed or the drawers - that might get sorted out with a call). I'd urge you to write to the departments concerned with copies to the head honchos for the other problems though.. I've always found letters work so much better, and they are proof that you contacted them whereas a call can be dismissed/forgotten/denied.

You haven't ordered the Boston range from MFI by any chance have you? If so I am having the same trouble!! Still waiting for 1 drawerfront since 1 sept!! Will never ever ever use MFI again as their customer service is so dreadful.

if i ever get bad service from people as soon as i ring the call center i asked to be put straight through to a manager/supervisor. if that doesnt help then i send them a recorded delivery letter. that way they have to sign it to recieve it. and if that doesnt work(very rarely does it get to this point) i threaten them with either legal action or bad press like watchdog or local papers etc.
 
Im writing to the various complaints dept as we speak.......

Ive already tried talking to Area Managers and supervisors and got nowhere.

Today I got a call back from customer services at the Royal Mail who told me they were 'still investigating ' and not getting anywahere with the local delivery office....I tried telling them I really don't care what they do but we want our post...AND expect some sort of compensation afetr all this time!


Also eventually got a call back from Barclays who have found 1 of my cheques and 'think' they know whats happened to the other......:mad: ...when he told me he would look into it again tomorrow and 'was sure it would appear then' and then asked me if thats was ok....I said NO! I want my money in my account NOW!:mad:

as for MFI, no its not the Boston range Nat, its something else that I cant remember..but theyve just arrived.....just need to check all the pieces are there now!!!:confused:


no news on Beckys bed yet though .........:( :rolleyes:
 
:( Mandy, up on my soapbox I'm afraid, but this is just one more example of how bad this country is at customer services for ANY kind.

We never have anything go smoothly, it's actually terribly worrying to me when it does, because I'm waiting for the BUT . . .;)

Get back on the phones, emails, letters, bombard the so-and-sos, it's the only way.

Hope everything sorts itself out, this is not what you need when you've just moved.
