Is it fairly easy to rent out points?

I 'm not worried about the effort to call and find ressie dates for people.
But I have the opportunity to buy a contract that will give me too many points for my personal use....so I would probably be renting 100 points a year...either at HH or SS home resort.

Do you think this would be difficult for any reason...cause it looks like altho there are many points offered for rent here that there are also many renters out there.

Also....is there any difference I should consider as to whether HH or SS points rent better ?

THanks ,

Renting points is generally not too difficult. Reading up on the Rent/Trade Board will pretty much get you up to speed.

As far as which points to use, unless you are more than 7 months away from the dates for the reservation, then there really is not a real difference in points. I would probably rent out the HH points first and save the SS points for my own reservations at WDW.

Renting points is not particularly difficult, but you should realize that such a transaction requires a fair amount of trust on both the part of the person renting the points and the points owner.

Such trust can be helped by simple contracts, etc. But you may run into a renter who is not comfortable with the fact that you can have his/her money and then cancel the reservation. And renters can string you out, or worse cancel within the last 30 days and leave you holding distressed points.

Personally, and it's just my opinion, I'd look for a contract that fits your needs better. On the other hand, you might just think you have too many points...most of us here understand that it's very difficult to achieve that status! :)
