Looks like it was another fun theme night Laurie! The food looked so yummy and it looks like the kids had lots of fun! Loved the photos of the chicken dancing!

It was fun and the kids are asking when the next one is!!!

Haven't gone through all the posts. But I got up to the binder pages. WOW... I'm impressed. Not just with the depth of the detail. But also with the care and effort you put into it. Bravo.

And with the itinerary, I was glad to see that you decided to do a resort decoration day. We did this during our last trip. Coincidentally, we also did it on our MVMCP day. Helps save the day on the park hopper. Plus, it is a very leisurely paced day.

Here's another thought regarding dining. It might be cheaper for one of you to get an annual pass and then you can buy a Table in Wonderland discount card. With the card, you save 20% on food and drinks at TS restaurants. Just something to consider!

WELCOME!!! That binder is our life line during the planning stages & then a memory book after the trip!!! I'm glad you liked it!!

Our itinerary keeps going round and round, still have a resort day but probably doing the party on one of our MK days......but nothing's set.....YET!! lol Going and seeing the holiday decorations and edible displays to me is like going to a park.......just as excited for that day as I am for seeing each of the 4 parks!!!!

I think the activities were more fun than the movie..........

I had looked at the AP for WDW (I currently have one for DL) but when I was reading, it wasn't good for all the restaurants and I wasn't sure about all the gift shops. I definitely get my money's worth out of it at DL....but all the restaurants take it and all but a handful of shops (that I don't tend to shop at) take it.....so with a family my size it does add up quickly. Now I could be totally wrong on what I was seeing regarding the WDW AP's....... I still like the idea of having as much pre-paid as possible. (we're not the best in saving money)

I have never really compared the Deluxe to TIW, more so the regular DP to TIW. With the latter, I have found I save more with TIW, so I have never purchased the Dining Plan. (Though I sure wish I did years ago when it was way cheaper, included tip and an appetizer. Those were the days!)

My son just got his acceptance email from the Disney College Program....He'll be doing his internship at WDW!!!!!!

No other information at the moment as he had to rush off to school this morning. So not sure if he starts in May or this fall.....but either way.....this makes a HUGE change in our plans. We'll have to remove him from the trip package and try to get together with him when he has time to join us.

Very excited for him, but a little sad for us......he'll be so far away & we'll miss the chance to experience WDW for the first time as a family.......but I guess we'll get some inside tips on weather and what to expect....so with the twins that's not a bad thing.

Thank you both!! Very excited for Derek & thinking how lucky he is. He received an email a few weeks back saying they were still going through the thousands of applicants with a decision being made before April 24th......so we were prepared for the fall out when he didn't make it. So glad that didn't happen.

He made the Fall Advantage and begins sometime in May. He's currently in college and his term doesn't end until 2nd week of June....so he's waiting for an email telling him what the final date he has to arrive. He's going to have to see what he can do to take the finals early.

MAY????? that's next month!!!!!!! Not sure I"m ready for that!!!!!

Yup.....it will be nice having someone on the inside to make sure my planning is good for our family.....only someone IN our family would know. Just gonna miss him and miss having him experience the parks the first time with us......but I couldn't be happier or prouder of him for getting this opportunity. If he can get hired on after the end of the program (which officially is over for him in January but can be extended out for a full year) he'll probably stay in Florida.
