Is it better to wait for a AP discount or book now?

We are planning on going 10/22 to 11/5 WDW.
I want to make reservations ASAP but should I wait just in case an AP discount comes up later?
If I do make reservations now and a discount comes up later can I get an ajustment?

We always make a AAA ressie for at a rate we feel comfortable paying. Then if a code doesn't come out, we have a room. If a code does come out we usually upgrade--either resort or room class. If you apply the code to a room you already have, they will adjust the price. Also, if you have your room paid in full, they will refund or give you a credit on your account. Since we stay eight or nine nights, a good code will save us hundreds (even with an upgrade). So we like the credit--often it pays for many of our meals.

Book now with a AAA rate if you can then watch for Ap rate. Use a TA to do it for you!
For this trip I used a TA and booked with a AAA rate for AKL and was waiting for a AP rate but was lucky and got a postcard so we used that.

I do the same thing as the other folks that posted. We ALWAYS book AAA with a resort that we won't mind paying the AAA rate, then change over.......I know some people won't reserve a room like this before ap rates come out, but I feel much better knowing that we will at least have the resort we want at a price we don't mind paying.

You can make a ressie now, and then when the AP rates do come out, you can all and have it adjusted. This just means you'll have to keep on top of things since they are based on availability. I am not sure how busy the week of halloween is, so you might want to transfer the ressie to AP as soon as possible to make sure you get what you want.
