Is it better to use a TS for a lunch or dinner

The reason I am asking is we are trying to decide on LeCellier for lunch or dinner. I have a feeling when I call I am only going to be able to get a ressie for lunch which is my main reason for asking.

We prefer to have TS for dinner so we can end the night on a nice note

We, too, prefer to use our TS for a dinner choice. However, we just booked a trip and are less than 30 days out and I'm finding it very difficult to get ADRs to places that I would like to eat. Rather than not eating at those places, this year, we'll be choosing a lunch option. Good luck!

For certain places I'll compromise for a lunch b/c I want that place. And it might be a nice break from the midday heat depending on your travel dates. You could a late lunch (1-2) and then be okay with a nice snack around 7, maybe?

We actually prefer to have our bigger meal at lunch so the majority of our ADR's are for lunches. Le Cellier is great for lunch. :thumbsup2

Thanks. We have never been to Le Cellier so I am pretty much hoping I can get any ressie I can since I have heard nothing but good about eating there. I like the idea too of having a big lunch and then some goodies/snacks when we return to our resort.

It depends on your personal style. Do you prefer a sit down lunch or dinner? We make most of our TS ADR's for dinner as we prefer a sit down evening meal.
As far as value goes, but TS meals are less expensive at lunch, often with the same or similar menu items.
Good Luck

Since we have the DDP, I feel like I want to get my money worth....Dinner is more expensive than lunch....lol...If I was paying out of pocket, I would go at lunch....HTH!

1) If you consider value, dinner is the better bet for a TS coupon.
2) You get more for your coupon dollar.

Thanks and that is exactly what we were figuring. I am hoping that we can get a ressie at Le Cellier but I do have some other options if it is not available to us.

If you are on the dining plan-dinner is the better value
If you are paying OOP then go for lunch-cheaper

We prefer to use our TS at dinner time. We dont want to be running from park to restaurant at lunch. We spend our afternoons at the hotel, so dinner is the first stop of our evenings back in a park.

I agree that it depends on your family. Dinner is our favourite meal. So we usually have dinner at a TS restaurant. It is a great time to be able to relax with our meal. :thumbsup2

Lunch type food does not go over well with us, so we usually just try to share a meal for lunch. That way we are not too full for dinner.:thumbsup2 ::yes::

(But I will admit that during very hot days, a late lunch may be a good break. But I guess, for us, it would depend on what the restaurant would offer during lunch.)
