I have been to Disney many times! Planning a family trip and some would like to go the week between Christmas and New Years. Yes, this is the busiest week. Has anyone been there then? Please give me some feedback. I would prefer early December. THOUGHTS and experiences, please. :hippie:

I have never been at that week...but I have known other people who have gone Xmas week and I've seen their pictures...and the crowds in those pictures. I personally would love to go during the holidays because I think it would be a neat change to a New England Xmas. BUT one look at those pics and I'll never do it. I can't imagine fighting those crowds, waiting in lines, waiting for buses, etc, etc when there are that many people there. As an adult, that would drive me crazy and I can't imagine asking my 3 year old to be patient while standing in line for 90 minutes! Nope, I'll stick to September. By the end of our trip the Halloween decorations are up and the place looks pretty festive. Not as fun as snow on Main St but I'll deal with the real stuff up here in Boston :rotfl:

I always thought it would be a great time to go...but I had no idea about the crowds!! YIKES!!!!

We always go the first week in December when the Christmas stuff is out, but the crowds are NOTHING!! That would be my suggestion!
