Going to WDW for the 1st time this yr. Thinking the kids stay/play offer is good. Going in Sept, 2 adults, 2 kids (4 & 1) for 6 nights. Priced the Magic Your Way Package with Dining at a Value Resort for $1800. Is this a reasonable offer? Or are there other ways to get a better discount? Sorry, totally new to this and all these Disney options give me a headache lol. Thanks!

Good for you on doing your homework before booking your trip.

The Kids Stay/Play promo is a decent discount. It will save you $233.24 (for a 6 day base ticket) or the cost of your 4 y.o. child's park ticket (the 1 y.o. will not need a ticket).

It is a better savings versus the current Late Spring/Late Summer Room Only discount offered.

However, if you are looking at doing the "Plus" Dining Plan you should keep your eyes peeled (this is the perfect forum to watch) for a Summer Free Dining offer. Usually the offer is for free Quick Serve Dining Plan when staying at a value resort, however you may upgrade to the Plus ddp by paying the difference. For the 2 adults and 1 child you'd pay it would be a savings of $492.

You can book the Kids Stay/Play promo now and switch to the Free Dining promo if/when it is offered. As long as you are arriving more than 45 days from the change there will be no change fees.
