Is is really that cold at night in May?

Im going May 10th, and I gotta say, I did not expect late 80's during the day...I was thinking late 70's...boy was I off! Now I am nervous, I hope it is not unbearable, as we are from NH and we were hot while it was 65 degrees today! Haha!
