Is House of Blues kid-friendly?

We have 3 kids; 7, 5, & 2.5. We would like to try HOB in Downtown Disney for dinner, but wanted to know if it is kid-friendly. HOB and Ragland Road appear to be the only places still available for reservations for the date I am looking for.

WE ate there once for a late lunch - I think it was March one year - my son really enjoyed it, he was about 6 at the time BUT we had the place to ourselves & there was no performers when we dined.

But if there is a performance & if your kids don't like (possibly loud) music &/or you're concerned about what the kids might hear with adults around having a few beers (& carrying on like adults drinking beer) you may want to opt for lunch instead!

But if you don't think it would bother you or your kids, go for it!

you might want to check restaurant.com they have had house of blues gift card on there if you plan to go.

as long as there isn't a loud, crazy band performing that night, then you guys will be fine with HOB! personally, i love it!

Yes, it is kid friendly but if you are wanting to eat somewhere like RFC or TRex, you might try calling them directly. That's what I'm working on this morning.

Does anyone know if we need to buy tickets?
Or can we just eat, it didnt look like any performers were going to be there that night.
