Is Hoop De Doo worth a visit?

We were one and done. Food was fine, servers were fine, appropriate for all ages- show was just too corny. We knew going in it was corny and we like some corn in our entertainment but even for my crew it was too much. If you don't mind corny humor, give it a shot. If corn in your humor isn't your thing I'd spend the money elsewhere.

We love it!! Go almost every time we go to WDW. We recently took grandsons (ages 6-10) and they laughed all the way through it. My 76 year old parents also love it. My dad was actually cast as Davy Crockett’s angel once. The food was delicious and they will keep bringing more of whatever you want. They keep your drinks full as well. Fair warning though, it is very loud if you have any that are sensitive to noise.

We love HDDR. Fun for all ages. Food isn’t anything to write home about, but it’s close to passable. The Bud Light is cold and goes down smooth.

Yes it is. I go to Hoop every month and love it (and going again in 10 days)

You should do it at least once. We’ve been three times in the last 18 years and enjoyed it each time. Grandkids loved it

Been twice and loved both times. Good food, good fun.

It's different from the usual 'norm' at Disney and worth making your way over to Ft. Wilderness.

We been multiple times too and love the corny jokes as well as the singing and dancing. Give it a try!

We’ve probably done Hoop Dee Doo 25 times and continue to enjoy it. We’ve gone with 5-70 year olds and everyone enjoyed it. The food isn’t fancy but it’s good and we’ve always had very good service.

For many years, Hoop was our regular Independence Day dinner and always looked forward to by the family. Fried chicken and ribs, baked beans, collard greens(?), a salad and cornbread (more like corn cake but I digress). Dessert always the strawberry shortcake with lots of whipped cream.
Exactly what you’d expect 🙂

Easy enough to watch the entire show on YouTube if you want to get a feel for what it's like.

Definitely worth 1 visit. We like to go every few years. I would not recommend going with a child under 3. Some might be better sitting there the whole time even with the music/entertainment going on.

October 2024, my DD really wanted to go. My grandson was 21 months old. He was great at first but could not sit through the whole show/meal. Like I said, each child is different. I always say once they start walking until the age of 3.......no guarantee they will sit through any meal at a TS.

We just got back and my other grandson just turned two. He was okay for two sit down meals but not good for their last one.

Give it try. Might be too corny for sum and lot's of fun for others.

Food is nothing to write home about. Had much better fried chicken and ribs in other other places. It is loud and the show is decent. There's a rhythm and cadence to when the show is happening and when the food is coming out. Yes, it's all you care to enjoy, but they do get you in/out on time for the next show setup, so keep that in mind if you order more food or drinks.

We go every time and have a BLAST. The kids love it and my youngest was picked to go on stage once which was amazing!

The show is fun, but it is very corny. Much closer to a comedy night than broadway. Still, when you combine it with good food and sangria, it's a fun time.
