Hi!

We made reservations at HBD, but I am wondering if it is ok for a 5 & 2.5 y.o?

We added a day at HS after FSF was extended so nothing else left!

Are we better to stick it out at QS than brave HBD?

TIA!

The brown derby has a pretty good kids menu as I recall. It's one of our favs. I always enjoy the good and service. Try to sit outside for the good people watching.

Been there twice now with our son at age 6 & 8. He's a picky eater but found something he liked. The light up souvenir cups can help occupy them. They have really good cocktails too.

I realize I'm the lone exception, but it was the ONLY bad-- as in really, really bad-- meal of our recent vacation. (2 of our 11 dinners went uneaten, and I sincerely wish that 2 more would have.) In fact, it's the only BAD meal we've ever had on Disney property.

That said, all of my kids count as Disney Adults. They were able to order the steak, with no sauces or toppings. Two of them ate their steak... my daughter ended up eating french fries for dinner.

I would caution anyone to think twice-- and then twice more-- before ordering the duck.

Again, most people seem to love it there. I won't ever go back, but I'm absolutely in the minority.

There is no place in DHS that I wouldn't bring a 2.5 year old to. At BD our meals have always been good and we've encountered some of the best service on property. It is now a fixture for us when we do DHS.
