Is hanging out in the Stack fun?

All I can tell you is my DS13 was completely disinterested in going on the cruise and once we got on the ship, he was ALWAYS in the Stack. So was DS17 so....draw your own conclusion. :goodvibes

:wizard: hey-
personaly i didnt really like it and i am a very social person. its really just sitting in a big room with loud music with people you dont know trying to impress you. you really have to try it out and see if it works for you though. :wizard:

my DD loved it - when she was 13 and when she was 14 - and she can't wait to get back to it in 9 weeks (at age 15).

My ds loved it. He will be taking his 4th cruise in 12 days and says this will be his last 'cause he will soon turn 18 and be to old for the teen club's. For him the Stack is a big reason to cruise...

As you can read from the previous posts, I think it just depends on your child's personality and comfort level. My DD loved the club when she was younger, which surprised me since she had never been in that kind of atmosphere before. As she aged, she wasn't thrilled with the Lab activities. They were way to "just hanging" for her. She really enjoys sports and such. We haven't been since they changed the teens area to the Stack from Common Grounds (which she also thought was a "just hanging" area. We look forward to going next May and hopefully she loves the Stack. I would say just go with an open mind with no expectations and if they love it- great, if not, there are other things they can do.
