Is Halloween worth extra $ for Regular Season?

We are trying to decide whether to go at the end of October in 2008 which would be "Regular Season" rate or the last week of September which would be "Value Season". Does anyone know how mych they decorate the parks for halloween? is it worth it, or are we better off in September during Value Season? We will be staying at either the Polynesian or Contemporary.

In reality hardly anything is done for Halloween. The MK has a little things here and there in tiny places due to the MNSSHP going on, but absolutely nothing that I can recall is done at the other parks. The bigger draw that time of year is the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. If you are looking to save money, I would book your stay during the value season.

The only time the parks are really decorated is durning MNSSHP and that is at the Magic Kingdom.
