June half-term holiday is fully booked according to the UK site. Does that mean it's fully-booked everywehere or is there any point in trying to book over the pnone, or via another country's site?

Have just got it into my head that I want to go in half-term and am most put out to see that it's full! :)

What dates are you looking at and I can look at the French site for you now as I'm reserving on it atm :)

I'm looking at anything from 3rd - 11th June, preferably 4 nights. Thank you!!

Very good point about it being so busy though, hadn't thought of that :(

The thing is, when i've been before for the late may half term it's usually been fine... walk on a lot of rides or small queue's of 20 minutes, but I don't remember it EVER being full on the hotel front... so I'm over-worrying for our next trip in a few weeks :confused3

Which hotel and how many people please :)

We're just back and it was a French holiday on the Tuesday, so many people also were off on the Monday. When we checked in on Sunday night, the hotel CM told us that the hotel was full that night. Breakfast was fine, no queues. The park was busy - a huge queue to go through bag check and then to get into the park. We split the day between the studios and main park and did some shows in the studios.

Make sure you do EMH if you've on site - you'll do a lot then. We just paced ourselves - been many times before and just did what we really wanted to do instead of rushing around.

One thing I would recommend you do is either book your meals in advance if using table service restaurants, or eat early, say 5pm. Everything was absolutely packed out after 7:30 - which is just after the parade finishes. It's not fun when you're hungry and tired trying to find somewhere to eat. After 7pm the park was noticeably quieter, probably due to many day time visitors.

And don't worry too much about getting a spot for Dreams. From where we stood on two separate nights, even with people directly in front of us, there was still a very good view of the castle. It is elevated and higher than you might remember. We stood on the street slightly to the right of central plaza the first night, and in Discoveryland, just opposite the annual passport office the next time. Both were great views. :thumbsup2

Carrie, sorry for not replying earlier but my internet went down! Anyway, I can look on the French site myself, thank you very much for offering though!

There are lots of hotels showing as full the following week too which would be very odd because I believe nowhere is on holiday that week. There was a thread before where it was suggested that maybe they don't have all the rooms available because it is classed as low season. They may do this because they don't have the same staffing levels as they do in high season or because they use the time to refurb some of the rooms. I have been twice in UK half term and once the week after and there wasn't a big difference in crowd levels and it certainly wasn't unmanageable. Hopefully it will be the same this year, I really can't see that one extra bank holiday in the UK is going to make a huge difference to the numbers of people visiting?

Thanks Jothp for posting:thumbsup2 - I really hope that this is the case - I've been really stressing about the crowds; but I'm now beginning to relax!:goodvibes

Yes, we discussed this a while back as we were panicking at lack of availability! As Jo says, we came to the conclusion that they only have partial room availability during 'low season' and to be fair, June is low season to Disney although half the Disboard seems to be going :rotfl2:.

I do think they use a lot of temp workers/seasonal workers for jobs like housekeeping etc in high season and therefore during low season don't have the hotel running at full to capacity. It makes sense as what would they do with the extra staff in low season?

This is what I keep telling myself anyway - if I say it often enough it has to be true :lmao::rotfl:.

I mean, we are talking all nationalities visiting in summer for instance and hotels often still show availability then :confused3!

Oh well SURELY they could make just one more little room available, just for me? :rotfl:
