Is Free Dining Retro Active?

I made a res a few months back, and I asked the lady, what if FREE DINING comes around... will I be able to get it, she said..yes, and to add the dining package, that way all they will have to do it change it to free...and would be less messy...

doesn any one know about this scenario...

I am in the POLY... am I pretty much guarantedd the FREE dining? or not necessesarily? I have emailed them , because i am out of country working
I hope I dont miss the boat..

also, they are creative on how they give you a price on a package deal... you cant figure out what your paying for each thing seperately...what can I expect ( $$$$ ) to come off my bill being that its now FREE?

No you have to call to add the free dining & if it still ava for that resort. Even though the CM told you could. I try this one year & it wasn't there for the type of room I wanted so I either had to change resort or type of room. Can't you get someone here in the states to call for you? That would be the best way to do it. Not sure if you can email them. The only thing that comes off your package would be the charge for free dining. There is no discount off the room just free dining. I know very confusing Good luck !

You better call ASAP and see if they still have rooms available for your hotel.

Not to be alarming but I would find a way to call as soon as possible. You don't automatically get free dining on your package. It all depends on the availability at the resort and the Polynesian is a hot commodity.

I checked the Poly online just now and there are rooms available for various times but I agree with everyone else. Call ASAP as there is no guarantee they will be there for much longer.

If there is no way you can call, you can always book a new reservation online and cancel your other one when you have access to call. As long as you cancel before 45 days out.

I also agree with B-Ride try online & book & when you get back to states cancel the other. Or just buy an phone card to use while there.

so is it only the DIE hARD DIZERS that are most likely to get this deal and ONLY WHEN THEY CALL IN TO TALK TO SOMEONE?

You have to look under special offers to book free dining on-line and then use that link for free dining to check availability for this special at particular resorts.

lol...boy I was sweating it...I usually dont do dining...seems to cumbersome..with coupon/tickets whatever they give you...too much math/calcualtions.. I just like paying cash,,,,, but if its FREE...sure why not!

and the comment that all these FREE DINNING DIZERS being there at the same time..Im not so sure that will happen...after all it is limited...I am sure disney has it down to a science....they arent givin anything awau unless they really have too!!

Yeah way to go I am happy you got it now just have to make your ADR's as soon as you can. Another bummer but you will make it. I have been two times when free dining was offer the parks wasn't too bad. The resturants can get book fast that why you have to make them(ADRS) now which I gather you can't. I guess it all depends on where you have your heart set to eat. Keep in mine you have to pay for the tip. But happy that you were able to get it. They put the dining credits on your room keys.
