Is free dining plan now only quick service?

It depends on where you are staying. If you are staying at a value resort its quick service, remainder is 1 CS, one TS.

If you want to stay at a value resort and still get the normal dining plan, it's a $10/night extra for the updgrade.....which in our case, it was still cheaper to stay in a value + $10/night than to book a moderate.

The counter service plan gives you 2 counter services per day, 2 snacks, AND the refillable mug. The regular dining plan gives you only 1 snack and no refillable mug (along with 1 CS and 1 TS per night).

Ask Disney if you have a pin though because we got the pin where you can stay in a value and get the full plan, so that's what we booked. But you have to ask for the pin, they don't volunteer if one is attached to your name.

HUH? We are going in a few weeks and are staying at POP during free dining. We get one Quick Service, one table service and one snack per day right?

The Summer Free Dining offer does not distinguish between resorts. All resort packages under Summer Free Dining have the DDP. It's the Fall Free Dining that breaks the plans down by resort levels; moderates and deluxes get free DDP and values get free QSDP. Anyone at a value can upgrade to DDP or even DxDP by paying the difference in cost between QSDP and their desired plan.

The QS for the value resorts starts for the next promotion, not the one that ends Oct. 3. Even in Dec., you can upgrade from QS to regular dining for a charge. I'm glad we in on the one that's on for now.

I booked my dining before the free dining promotion. So I called and got the free dining promotion but kept what I had which was one quick service, one table meal, and one snack. I also got a refund of almost $300.00 (that was the exact amount I had yet to pay on my ressie) I am staying at POP.
