Is free dining ever offered in early December?

DH, DD and I, along with my BFF and her DH are headed back in December. We will be there 12/8-12/16. Has free dining ever been offered during this time? I know it's considered a slower time but has become more popular of late. We've already booked with DDP so just curious about what's been offered in the past. Thanks!

Nope - as far as I know free dining has only been offered in August/September

Nope but if you notice a hurricane headed for Orlando around the time you leave, give WDW a call and I'm sure they'd be happy to give you free dining!!

No free dining for December is considered a busy season & Disney doesn't need to offer deals to draw people in Seem they offer it August (late) & September

I was in WDW the exact same dates in 2006, 12/8 to 16. I also was hoping for free dining, but it never happened. I don't think its going to happen because this time of year is not as uncrowded as it used to be. The secret is out that it was the time to go.
