Hi!

I'm looking at renting from a DVC member @WLV for 9/21 - 9/29. I know that is in the timeframe of the free dining offer, but I assume it won't apply to us, since we aren't booking a package.

Does anybody know if it is available, or any suggestions for meal planning? We have 7 adults and 2 juniors...

Thanks so much for your help!

Cindy

Thanks so much! Now I don't need to keep scouring the threads...

Any ideas on whether the DDE plan is worth it, or purchasing an AP?

Again, we have 7 adults and 2 juniors for 8 nights/9 days.

Thanks for any input! :)

You can't get the free dining through DVC, but you'll still be able to purchase the regular dining plan at $37.99 per adult per day. I'm not sure what the child price is, but I'm sure someone will jump in with that information.

Just contact the member you're renting from and ask them to add the DP to your reservation. :wave2:

The child price is $10.99 (ages 3 to 9). 10 and up pay $37.99. The DDE maybe a good deal for you with 9 people, assuming you do alot of table service meals. You would just have to buy one AP to get the DDE.

And you only need ONE DDE card, as long as your all dining together. One card is good for up to ten people, as long as they're dining together and on the same check. The DDE gives you 20% off all food and beverage at participating restaurants (probably everywhere you would eat), including alcoholic beverages. If your party drinks alcohol, DDE is the only discount plan that offers anything off adult beverages.
