Is FP+ for FoF worth it?

For the day we're looking at, we don't really have many rides planned that would really require FP+. Is it worth using FP+ on FoF? Is the seating good, or poor viewing?

I would say no. We had it last year and it is in a completely unshaded area. It was a scorcher, we ended up abandoning it and finding an awesome last second spot in Frontierland

You do have the sun beating down on you and it is hot, but we really enjoyed it. We liked having a front row spot without a big time investment. DH and DD have low parade wait tolerance so it was great for us.
