Is FP+ 60 days plus 10?

I don't know why I am completely drawing a blank on this…I feel like I must have known this at one point.

Anyway, we are going next April for a split stay. We check into the Poly on April 7th. We check out and leave for a cruise on The Dream on April 11th. Then on April 15th we get off the cruise and check into BLT for 2 nights. Will I be able to make all of our FP+ reservations starting 60 days prior to April 7th? Three of us will have 7 day PH tickets, but my DD has an AP that will expire on April 12th so I was going to get her a 3 day PH ticket.

Is this all going to be a pain in the neck? Or am I overthinking it?

Thanks!

It's for the days you have tickets...so I think you will not be able to make all at once.

You may find the green link in my signature helpful.

Yes, thanks. But I am still confused because I have a "break" in-between 2 resort stays. Does anyone know if I will be able to make FP+ for both parts of our stay on the day our FP window opens?

Thanks.

You will not be able to make all your FP+ at once since you have a break in between your resort stays so they are treated like two separate trips.

Ugh. That's what I was afraid of. So having 2 resort stays with one just 4 nights and the other just 2, I probably won't be able to get a 7DMT fast pass, right?

You might be OK. Easter is early this year and your trip is 11 days after that. I would think that most spring breaks will be over by then since they usually hover around Easter (week before or week after) or earlier in March (of course, there are always exceptions!). We usually go about 10-14 days after Easter for short stays (usually 5 days or less) and haven't had an issue getting any FP+ including 7DMT. So don't despair just yet.

That said, the parks seem to be getting more and more crowded all times of the year so my history may not predict your fortune in 2016.

If you don't get them at your 60 day window, you can always search for one at a time in overlapping time frames. I have a party of 8 this trip (and no luck booking 7DMT at 60 days) and I was able to get 8 individual fast passes at 5 separate times that overlapped. It took some effort, checking regularly throughout the day, but it only took me about 5 days after my window opened to get them.

Good luck!

Thanks! It's really the only one that I think may be troublesome with 2 short stays…UNLESS that new Frozen ride opens before then! That'll be another story altogether!

That's not necessarily true. I recently booked fastpasses for our stay and since we were only staying our first night at a Disney resort, I had to log on every night for a full week as each day hit 60 days, I could not book all my days at once. At first, I could not get any 7DMT, as we were a party of 6. But I just log on to MDE every day and check and now I have FPs for all of us, just not at the same time, so now I am working on getting the times to line up. It's not impossible, but you do have to be persistent. I am sure by the time our trip comes around, I will have it all arranged so that everyone will have Fps for 7DMT at the same or at least overlapping times.
