Is Flame Tree BBQ air conditioned?

We always ate at tusker house for CS. Now that it's TS and we want to try Yak and Yeti, we need a new CS restaurant. What CS restaurants in Animal Kingdom are airconditioned?

No. Flame Tree has a walk up counter to order your food and the seating is all outside. The food there is sooooo good though. We always eat there for a CS meal, so I can't help you with other CS places....sorry.

Agreed. We look forward to dining there every year we are at Disney.

No A/C as mentioned, but there are covered seating areas that have ceiling fans.

We've eaten at Flame Tree when it was low 90's and we were fine in the shade. Never uncomfortable, always enjoyable. Watch out for the birds though. ;)

Flame Tree is a given every trip for us! The food is whoa! Yummy!
It is a great way to sit and eat with a stunning view of Everest and the crocs! I know we shouldn't allow it :rolleyes1 ...My kids almost always "save" a few bites of stuff for the turtles, fish, and gators that hang out in the lagoon.

I love the seating at Flame Tree, especially if you're down by the water. It's not air-conditioned, but the shade and ceiling fans are pleasant enough (unless it's in the dead of summer and super hot!)

I do hate it when people feed the birds; we had a family doing that at a table beside us last year and so many birds gathered we couldn't really enjoy our lunch.

The napkins DO say 'please don't feed the animals.' :headache:

Pizzafari is inside and air-conditioned. There are quite a few dining rooms there, too, with plenty of tables. Flik from A Bug's Life came into our room last Sept for a meet-&-greet and we got some great pictures.

We thought Pizzafari was just pizza, but my husband had a pretty good Italian sub there and I liked my Chicken Parmesan sandwich. Our 5-yr-old had pizza and said it was good.

Next time you see people doing this, tell them if they want to kill the birds, why done they just choke them. It's quicker and doesn't hurt as much as the food does.

I love Flame Tree and have never felt too hot eating there even in July.

That's a good response, but I'm generally not that confrontational. Wish I could be!

Yep, no air conditioning because there's no inside. I'm trying to think of another CS like this and the only place I can come up with is the picnic area near Rosie's, etc. in DHS. It's kind of random separate eating areas that are covered by a roof. But the view down by the water is lovely and the food is great.
