Is Fantasmic Show Often Moved Earlier?

Yes, I am the only person on planet Earth, I am pretty sure, who would prefer an earlier park close. But, it is just so I can get the kids to bed earlier! We are going the week prior to Thanksgiving and have been this same week several times. Fantasmic was 7:00 PM showtime this exact same week last year and this year it is 8:30. I would actually really prefer earlier - any guesses on my chances of a time change now that the schedule is published?

They don't move up the timing of a show very often.

But, I am surprised that it's only listed at 8:30.

It may have something to do with timing regarding the Christmas fireworks and/or the Star Wars fireworks.

I was wondering the same. Last year was that Jingle Bell Jingle Bam or whatever it was called.... That changed the schedule.

I am guessing not likely to be moved earlier as there Fantasmic dining ressies that might not be able make it in time for earlier show time. if they would add a second show it would have to be after for the same reasons as dining is for first show only

True but the latest time for ressie is 5:00 that week... or at least it is for HV.

but even with that time it could be close for a 7:00 show and for people who planned on 8:30 show could have other plans before show. I would be unhappy with that change if I had a 5pm ressie and a FP at 655

I have been wondering the same thing for the second week of November. The current schedule has the park closing at 8 but lists Fantasmic for 8:30. That doesn't make much sense. I think one of the times has to be incorrect.

Fantasmic scheduled after the park closing time is very common and happens all the time
