My wife and I and are 13 year old son are going to Universal for the first time for 3 days in November. We do not know what the crowd levels are like and we are debating if the "express pass" is worth the $26.99 a person per day for each of us. We know the attractions that this does not include.

Are the lines in early November big enough to warrant the extra money?

Thanks

When are you going? We are going the first week of Nov and I hope we won't need them because I wasn't planning on buying them. I think you can get them when you are there if you need to. I wouldn't buy them ahead of time because they may not be necessary, at least I hope so!:thumbsup2

We'll be there first week of Nov also. Not doing Xpress Pass hopefully crowds won't be bad. It is Jersey week though...

About the only time in November you would need to purchase Express Plus passes is the weekend after Thanksgiving. If you aren't going during that time, you should be fine w/o it.

You probably don't need it, so you can hold off and purchase once you are inside the park. I hate spending extra money, but I hate standing on line even more.

We will be there Nov 12 & 13. I am hoping the crowds will be low since we will not be staying onsite. Not sure how much Veteran's day on the 11th will affect the crowds.

I don't remember the crowds being very heavy on Veteran's Day weekend so you should be OK.

I have never been there then so I can't really say but I'm not sure alot of schools are off that day.:confused3 I am in Northern Illinois and most schools here are not off but I don't know about anywhere else.

We're going this weekend, as well. I checked, and Orlando public schools are in session, so I hope the crowds are low!

It's Jersey week? Hmmm.... I've been to WDW during Jersey week and the crowd level was very noticable!

I think Jersey Week this year is the week ending November 6th.

Yes, Jersey week is the week/weekend of 11/1-11/7 this year. Usually it really only affects that Thursday through Saturday as far as noticeable crowds are concerned at Disney. Although, TP is calling higher from Tuesday-Saturday, this year. I am going on the notion that those crowds will have cleared out by the next week when we get to UO 11/11 & that, unlike us, most have Columbus day off instead of Veteran's day. Hope we all find that weekend pretty crowd-free. :wizard:

You think so? I was there last year at that time and I didn't find it crowded at all, in fact our first trip was in May 08 and it was much more crowded then not to mention 10x hotter!!

We will be there Nov.21-24, just before Thsnksgiving, but right after Deadly Hallows, pt.1 opens. We are hoping for low crowds, but staying onsite.
