Is early PS an option for Those staying off Disney?

When we go in August we will be staying off Disney property (boo-hoo). When are the earliest times to get a PS for a character meal such as Crystal Palace and can people staying off Disney get an early time and be let into the park early for a PS? When we went before, we stayed on Disney and had the latest time possible for breakfast on an early entry day. We would go early, enjoy some rides then have a late breakfast which would serve as brunch. Can't do that this time since we are not on Disney. So I'm thinking an early breakfast time would be the way to go, although I am concerned about breakfast and then rides, but not much choice.

Yes, early is definitely an option for those staying off site. If you are going to a MK restaurant, you will want to time your arrival at the TTC for 30 - 45 minutes ahead of the PS time. Tell the CM at the monorail station about your PS and you will be allowed to board the monorail, even if others are not. When you get through the MK security, ask a CM which entrance is letting people in for early PS times. When were last there it was the left most gate (if you are facing the park).
