Is early entry worth it w/ Lightning Pass?

Our family hasn't been to the Disneyland Resort in four or five years. We are likely going to do a day at each park in August of 2025 and will buy the Lightning Pass Multi Pass. We always stayed at the Disneyland Hotel in the past, largely to get the one hour early admission. But I see now that the early admission is only 30 minutes, and our early admission go-to Radiator Springs Racers is not open for early admission (we'll likely do a single Lightning Pass for it). So now I am wondering if it is worthwhile to stay on-site this time. I have not looked at prices yet but I assume the "good neighbor" hotels are much cheaper, although you'll have a slightly longer walk to the park?

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!!

I would not stay at a Disney owned hotel just for Early Entry. You could likely pay for the premier pass for a day for the price difference between a Harbor hotel and the Disneyland Hotel.

Honestly I wouldn't just for early entry now that it's only 30 minutes. We've stayed both on and off property at DLR and our last stay at Candy Cane Inn was wonderful. Also they still have a shuttle although they are so close you probably don't need it. Side note, the premium rooms will deliver breakfast to your room if you order the previous day. Yay!
