Is DVC a good idea for me?

I'm not sure the exact intent of these comments so pardon me if I am misunderstanding your intent. If you're saying they anyone that thinks Disney Vacation Club is not a good deal for every one doesn't understand the program, doesn't have the money or is prejudiced; is simply incorrect. Disney Vacation Club Is a specialty item plain and simple. It only makes sense for those that value staying on property, avoid heavy weekend usage, stay mostly at DVC resorts and can TRULY afford it.

If you don't mind Dean - stay on property in Deluxe resorts and maybe mods. And add: Do not care if they don't get hotel services (like daily mousekeeping) or are willing to pay extra for those service IF they are available, don't mind not getting "bargains" like free dining. Also, can plan at least seven months out for their "home" resort, can plan at least four months out and don't mind staying at "whatever is left." Have fairly consistent patterns of use that will average the number of points they buy in a three year moving average.

No doubt there are other factor and issues. I would agree with all of you were additions overall. I do think that even some people who are accustomed to staying in value resorts can justify DVC. That situation one generally be those that avoid weekends totally.
