Is DTD typically crazy busy on St. Patrick's Day?

No one with any experience with this? I am not at all sure how much a destination the various restaurants and bars will be.

I can check with my wife tonight and let you know (she has worked in DTD for the past 3+ years)

Thank you, mrkyyyle! We are celebrating my DH's birthday that day, but will have our kiddos along...I am letting him decide what he wants to do, but I did want to let him know how advisable the DTD places would be so he could factor that into the decision.

Thanks, figment_jii. Touring Plans says that day will be a 9 - higher than any other day that week except Sunday - (and I know the veracity of their crowd calendar is well-disputed here :)) so I figured there had to be some sort of impact from people coming to celebrate (so, maybe dry DL will be the least popular option that night!)

Spring breaks will be starting that week. If you look at the park hours you will see that DL is open until midnight all week, which means they expect higher crowds. Just get there at rope drop and use fast passes and you will be fine. Have fun!

Yes, I know it is spring break as that is why we are there too! :). I was just noting that Tuesday, March 17 has the highest predicted crowd level of the week and wondered how the holiday impacts Downtown Disney specifically. But, of course, thanks for the advice...I need every bit I can get!
