Is Droid Depot ever a walk up?

I managed to get two reservations for my boys to make lightsabers but one would rather make a droid. So far I can get no reservations. Is it highly unlikely that he might be able to just walk up that day and get in? How many people can make a droid at one time? I mean how many slots are available each session? I know the sessions are only like 20 or 30 minutes.

I'm not sure how it would be in the middle of the day, but you would probably be able to walk in mornings or evening no problem. Droid Depot is far easier to do walkup than Savi's, so you should be fine. Keep trying for a reservation though. Makes things go faster. Also, the actual build time can be as little as 15 minutes for a Droid. Just depends on how long it takes to decide on pieces. Activation can take a few minutes to get someone to you though.
