I've read a couple posts now that say that the DLH is actually just as far away to walk as it would be if we stayed at a GN hotel.
Is that true?
One of the biggest benefits to us for even looking at staying at DLH or CG is that we have 2 small DDs & want to be able to walk back to the hotel mid-day, take a nap, relax, recharge & then hit the park again. I really didn't want to take a big chunk out of our day just walking back & forth, especially since we're shelling out hundreds of extra dollars to be *onsite*, kwim?
So I'm wondering if anyone can actually put into relative terms, how far that walk thru DD is to get to the DLH? Is it like 10 min, or are we talking 30 min? How does it compare to the walk to Ca Grand?
Also, I've heard conflicting info about the monorail running directly to DLH. Some say it does run to the hotel & it drops you off in Tomorrowland. Others say it no longer does & it only runs to DD.
(Not to mention, I don't even know if it's working or not.) We are planning on a visit the last week in June & I'm concerned whether it would be a deal breaker for us to decide whether to book at DLH or CG because of it.
TIA for any input,
