I went to buy park passes today and Disney dude said he would have to order them.



Please tell me that I will love it.

I'd love to go back. We were there in 98 and had a great time but they've added lots then.

Be sure and ride the Canal Boats - after dark is even better. One of those that has much more than meets the eye and isn't duplicated anywhere at WDW.

Disneyland is the best single park here in the states. If I could spend a day at the MK or DL, DL would win hands down. Besides it's amazing when a park is actually open past 6pm!

JTB, it must be the part of the country you're in. There is NO problem getting Disneyland tix here in California. Jeff is right - Disneyland is compared to the Magic Kingdom, but it's better in so many ways! & Disney's California Adventure is definitely worth seeing. (do not miss Soarin' over California!) Even on non-summer weekends, DLand is open late.

You WILL love it! Disneyland IS the single best park here in the USA. It is an amazing, magical place, even more magical than the Magic Kingdom itself. Maybe I am biased, since it is my 2nd home, but I love DL so much.

I've been to WDW a dozen times and finally visited Disneyland for the first time this year. Frankly, I've been fretting a little over the state of WDW but from what I saw the magic is alive and well at Disneyland! The CM's are super nice, the attractions look good to me and there's tons to do. My whole family was smitten with the Indiana Jones ride and I think that this one ride made our trip worthwhile all by itself.

Don't worry, I think that you'll enjoy the place.

Indy is the best ride they've built IMO. Gee, like you guys couldn't tell I liked it

I agree with Janette - the StoryBook Land Canal boat ride (?) is probably the most magical attraction at DL. And Soarin' Over California at DCA is worth the price of admission into the new park. As a whole I don't believe the resort begins to compare to WDW, but it makes for a very fun weekend!

I agree that Disneyland is the best single park in the U.S. It has a very different feel from WDW and from the MK in particular. The downside is that it is smaller and therefore you feel the congestion much quicker than at WDW. You must ride Pirates of the Caribbean at DL if you like it at WDW--it is a much longer and much more impressive ride at DL. Fantasmic is also a much different experience at DL.
