HI Dis friends,

Does the Poly resort have a shop that sells diapers, baby wipes and gallon of bottled water.

How much is the bottled water.

Thanks for inputs.

Not really. They do sell bottled water, $2.50 per 20 once bottle, no gallon jugs. Diapers are also sold, but usually only in small quanities, like 10 or so per pack, usually at $10 per pack. I've never seen baby wipes, but then I've never looked, again they'd be severely over priced, probably like $4 for a sample pack of 15 wipes. We always packed our own diapers and wipes, it always leaves room for those souviners you'll pick up during your stay. I always used the tap water for my kids and never had a problem with them, even in their bottles. If you don't want to carry all that stuff, you can either get a towncar to get you at the airport (most include a free 30 minute grocery stop) or rent a car and make the grocery stop yourself.

Edited to add: If you are a Pamper or Luv's person, you won't find any of those on WDW property. WDW only sells Huggies products exclusively.

also, don't expect to find any enfamil or similac products--only carnation stuff.

If baby is used to your water or bottle water, I would definitely find bottled water some where. the tap water is YUCK!!

Last year we went with my 1yr DD and found some supplies over at the Contemporary. For example, you can buy milk there in larger sizes. Poly has very little selection (virtually none), and the prices are ridiculous. Just hop on the monorail and tour the contemporary, it makes for a nice side trip too!

Or you could use a grocery service, I have a site bookmarked...www.wegoshop.com that I thought about trying the next time we head south. We've never used them but I got the site from someone on the boards here. I have no idea how much the fee would be, but my guess is that it would pay for itself considering how much Disney charges for essentials like this.

Have a great trip!

My parents did a towncar service last year with a free grocery stop. They bought bottled water and nutrigrain bars, that sort of thing. We packed bottled water. It makes the suitcase very very heavy. We plan on the grocery stop next time since we'll have a kid along and probably won't be able to handle 2 ton suitcases too. (It was a good workout though.)
