Hi, this is my first post, after lurking way too long. hhehe. my husband and i are booking our trip for our family, ourselves and DS4 and DSthat'll be 1. DS4 eats next to nothing. he would eat french fries NONSTOP. hubby and I aren't wanting to do any TS meals, so I am thinking that DDP is not a good option for us. We'll be staying at port orleans riverside..are there any close drive thru's or grocery stores so we can shop?

thanks so much!! we are getting so excited!

All of the character meals are TS. With the dining plan we are able to do 3 or 4 each visit. Also, the children's DP is ony $11.00 per day. You can't beat that. We love the dining plan. It will save us about $1,300.00 on our next visit. So unless you are going to be bringing pb&js to the park everyday I think the DDP is an awesome value.

Well, if you aren't interested in any table service meals (this includes those character meals!) then skip the dining plan. It's not worth it unless you use your TS credits.

If you intend to do character meals, then you may want to reconsider things.

If you don't want to do any TS meals or character meals, the ddp isn't for you. For a lot of cs meals, you can probably get two meals and share with your kids; we've done that several times, and most of the cs meals are plenty big enough to share.

I concur with comments of not being worth it is you aren't planning on any character meals. However, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue is two TS and it is very entertaining for young and old alike.
