Is CRT still hard to get or did I just get lucky?

This morning I booked CRT for lunch at the end of September at 1pm. When we ate there for breakfast a few years ago I had to call right at 7am exactly 90 days out. Have things gotten better with the addition of lunch and the reservations being taken 180 days out, or did I just get lucky?

My DD7 will be soooo excited!!!

I was about to ask this question too. I am planning to call 180days out for a breakfast at CRT soon and have been biting my nails over it because of past stories I heard about how difficult it was to get.

it's significantly easier. not to say one should wait a month out before booking, but it's not as bad as it used to be and people are always canceling as well.

We both must be lucky. I got breakfast for my DD birthday this morning.

Yea I called last week and got my first choice. Then realized I had to change it to fit a schedule and called back....second choice fit too! I had to book a larger party this year (in case our adoption goes through by September) and now I'm fearful that if I have to call and reduce the number of diners that I'll end up with no ressie at all :(

Still it was much easier than in previous years when I've tried.

I was surprised too. I booked CRT brkfst yesterday for 9/2. I also had another day for MK and she had availability that day too. Good luck all.

I just booked it for 9/2 and got the time I wanted.

We've never eaten at the castle so I'm really looking forward to that.

When I called on monday morning I inquired about breafast at CRT for two mornings the week of 8-27 and they were open. I think CRT is loosing some of its luster.

I think it is the fact that they added lunch AND made the meals so much more expensive (and requiring pre payment) that have made it so much easier to get reservations.

We called and got breakfast ressies 55 days out for the end of May. I was very pleasantly surprised! Now, do we use 2 TS or pay OOP??? That is the question!

I think it's because September is a slow time. First week of April (Spring Break) was another matter entirely!

Guess I'm not s lucky then. I couldn't get a ressie for when we are there in June 2008 as they were all gone.:confused3 :guilty: :sad2:

I got lucky too.....

Called 2 weeks ago for CRT dinner on my DD's birthday:cool1:
April 23....the kids are out of school....thought for sure it would be gone.

June is a busier time at Disney. Don't give up hope yet though, keep trying!!

A-Ha! Never mind my question - this is an old thread from 2007! That makes a lot more sense now!! I'll just leave my original question here, just in case others wonder the same thing.

Another question, how are you guys getting reservations for September of 2008? :confused3 The 180 day window doesn't open until March.

If I were you guys I'd check my reservations again when it got to be closer to the time to verify that they're still in the system.
