Do you consider Citrico's a must-do for an adult couple? - we're eating at almost every signature restaurant as it is. I wish we could get in Boma, Ohana, and/or Tony's (all mostly due to the "Disney magic" of them, and not necessarily the utmost food quality). Should we stick with Citrico's or switch to two of the aforementioned...will Citrico's seem boring after having done so many signatures, or is it a wonderful place to go? Already going to AKL for meals twice, and have nothing down for Poly so far. Tony's interest is mostly due to one person's love of Lady and the Tramp movie. As always, thank you much!

P.S. - Don't get me wrong...Citrico's has a menu and decor that looks wonderful, and is our one ressie at the Grand Floridian. Just disappointed that other restaurants will be missed out by going here, and can't decide if it's worth the "sacrifice."

Of the three you have listed, I would rate Ohana first, then Boma, and Tony's is a distant 3rd. We've eaten at Tony's twice, and it's OK, but nowhere on par with Ohana or Boma.

Do a search for "best signature restaurant". There have been several such threads, and I have noticed that Citricos gets lots of mentions. We have not eaten there, but hope to book the Signature dinner during F&W.

I'd leave out Tony's and do Citricos. Citricos is one of my top three Disney restaurants, with an upscale Mediterranean-inspired menu and excellent service.

I think Citricos is one of the better places that still have good food and service.

Our Ratings of Citricos: (rev 6/18/2011)
. . . food price value: B
. . . food quality: A
. . . food quantity per serving: B
. . . food prep speed: C
. . . food selection: B
. . . seating quantity: B
. . . seating comfort: B
. . . eatery atmosphere: B
. . . eatery convenience: C
. . . staff friendliness: A
. . . staff helpfulness: B
. . . character interaction: n/a

NOTE: Citricos is a gracious and relaxing place to eat
at GF. It has a Mediterranean flair, but is highly tailored
to the American taste
. We are fond of the Veal Shank for
the entree. Try the duck confit & cheese ravioli for the
appetizer, and the chilled asparagus & ham for the salad
course. Citricos is only one of five sitdown eateries we
patronize at WDW, and only one of the two that are owned
by Disney. The menu, service and price are definitely upscale.
Valet parking is not validated.

Yes, personally I would choose to skip Boma and Tony's for Citricos if you have to eliminate two restaurants. We do like Boma ... for a buffet. 'Ohana, to us, is so Disney; the food has varied, for sure, but we have never regretted a stop at the Poly.

I haven't been to Tony's, but I would skip Boma and 'Ohana, which I like, any day in order to eat at Citricos.

Citricos is a wonderful place, with wonderful service, and wonderful food. Don't miss it, even if you've been to all the other signatures.

Cittricos is one of the top restaurants on property. If you want a nice dining experience, and that tumps the need for 'nostalgia'.... Then Citricos is a must do for signature dining

It depends what you're looking for. Citrico's has excellent food and service (being at the GF) but doesn't have much "Disney magic." It's a standard higher-end restaurant. I love it and recommend it highly.

'Ohana is very good. The food is kind of average, but it's endless! It also has a wonderful atmosphere and is a fun time -- "Disney magic"

Tony's is gross. Food is bad and way overpriced. I'd skip it.

Never been to Boma yet, although I'd love to go.

I would rather at at Citricos than any of the other places you mentioned

In the last few years we have come to the conclusion that the signature restaurants are so much better than a regular TS and very much worth the extra money (or TS credits)

We did the signature tour on our last trip. Citricos, Narcoossees & California Grill. Both Citricos and Narcoossees were equally good, with California Grill a distant 3rd. They're two of our favorites by far. We use to like The Flying Fish, but it seems to be a little too inconsistant.

+1

How does Citricos compare to Victoria and Albert's? What are the differences in menu or style?

TwoifbySea:

They are very different--in price to begin with!! V&A is much more formal and the menu is prix fixe.

Thanks -- what about the food? And the experience? The Citricos website mentions something about a show kitchen and being near the chefs, but THAT seems even more expensive than the Chef's Table at V&As since there is a $650 minimum and we are only two people.
