as before the Princess Breakfast at Epcot opened? One of our all time fave meals along with Prime Time Cafe. Definitely a must repeat if possible on our next visit.

It seems to be, if you read these posts for awhile. They run out of reservations within 10 minutes I understand. I think they now do a Cinderalla's dinner at the Grand Floridian, with the Fairy Godmother, Cindarella, a couple of mice and I think Prince Charming?

Judging from my experience this morning, it's easier than it sounded like it used to be. We've never been to WDW before, so I've never tried to book the breakfast before, but when I called this morning at 7am, I got through immediately and it sounded like it was wide open (the CM asked me, 'early, middle, late?' so I'm guessing most of the time slots were still available. It certainly didn't seem like it was about to book up in 2 or 3 minutes like people have said it did in the past.

That being said, I think it has everything to do with the new 90 day booking policy and nothing to do with the storybook breakfast. I think many people who are 'in the know' about this policy change are flying in under the radar.

charabby - You're giving me hope! My 90-day mark is next week and I was hoping that not enough people know about the 90-day change to have gotten the masses going again. This is the first time I've ever tried for Cindy's breakfast, and it sounds like I might have a pretty good chance! Here's hoping!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

In the past I tried to no avail, this trip I got a PS for 9:05 after reading about a cancel on this board. I then realized I messed uipa nd needed to get two more people in. I called back that evening and they actually had a 9:35 spot for 6, so I took that and cancelled the 9:05 one and left a post that that one was available.

My suggestion is if you first do not succeed, call back later and keep checking people cancel all the time. Also keep checking while on your trip as they open up at the last moment as well.

For our trip in 2002, it took me two mornings to get up at 4am to make PS for CRT. My friend was going nearly the same time and she was having problems, so we both got up and called. It took us 5 days of getting up at 4am to make her PS.

This past summer, we had three families travelling together, so four of us adults got up at 4am and made the call. Two of us got PS's the first morning out of four callers. We picked the best time and cancelled the other immediately.

I believe it could be requiring the credit card and them billing the card that has made it easier to get along with opening up the Princess Storybook breakfast.

I have to agree with Charabby. I think the PS is easier to get because not enough people are aware of the new 90 day policy. I have called for this PS countless times over the years for myself as well as many of our friends and can honestly say that this is as easy as it gets. Usually, if your call is not answered immediately, you are out of luck. Since the policy change, even if I'm put on hold, they seem to be able to give me what I want. So for those of you who are thinking about calling, enjoy getting this PS because once the word gets out, it will be tough.

I'm sure its easier now because of the 90 day change. Only one new guide book as been published since the change, and I don't know if the change made the cut.

Anyone have the new Unofficial Guide 2004 to check?

For every one person that reads these boards, there has to 10 that don't.

Enjoy it now, it probably won't stay this calm for very long.

In a way I feel sorry for those people. There is probably a whole group of people with the 60 day mark circled in red on their calendar who are going to start calling at 7am, only to find out that there are no seats left because all us Internet saavy folk booked them at 90. ;)

TTFN!!

I picked up the 2004 Unofficial Guide this morning and it still has the 60 day mark for CRT. It has the same 3-4 page explanation of how to get the PS. Some people will probably be upset with them too!!

Oh you all are giving me hope!!!!

We did have PS's for our trip last June BUT my son got sick & we had to cancel the morning of our PS :( So we never got the eat in the castle since everything was booked.

I am hoping & praying we will be able to book a PS for our December trip. I get to call in about 3 weeks!

I'm keeping my fingers crosssed too! I get to call starting September 2 for our December trip!!

Good luck everyone!

It's DEFINITELY EASIER

I spent an hour calling four different times a little before 7 am on the four days prior to the 90 day change, and on the fifth day (aug 4) I spent another hour --but finally got through and got the ressie (haven't seen the phone bill yet!)

Definitely TAKE ADVANTAGE of the new change to 90 day policy while you still can :) The general public apparently isn't aware yet.

Hi folks,

Corrections to the PS policy in the Unofficial Guide are available on-line. See my sig below for details, and please let me know if there's anything we've missed.

Thanks!

Len

I'm bumping this to see if any recent CRT callers can comment on how it's been for the last couple of week? It will be a month tomorrow that the 90 day change took effect AND my call day is Friday!

Anyone have stories to tell from the last 2 weeks?

I'm a bit worried since I tried to get a PS for dinner at CP at MK this morning and had to wait 20 mintues...but I did make the call at 7:02a so that might be why!

Anyone?;)

We got reservations for a party of 11 on Thanksgiving Day. We had 6 people calling, and two of us got it. A couple of days before, we were calling for the Monday of Thanksgiving week- in case we didn't get Thurs.- and only one person got a table at all. I did get a res. for 11, but noone else could even get a table for 4. My mom was on hold for over 20 minutes- and of course, it was sold out. I think it is probably some easier- but still difficult!
BTW- the CM told me that CRT breakfast sold out in 1 min. 45 sec. for turkey day!

I will be calling this weekend for our CRT ressies. I hope to get the task done on Saturday (for 12/6), but will will take Sunday (12/7) if need be.

Crossing my fingers!

I got in ..... FIRST TRY! Party of 13 for Dec. 6th at 8:20. I do this every year (with a different group of girls every year) .... sometimes I get in first try, but not usually. It seemed easier, but maybe only because I wasn't rejected and don't have to continue getting up at the crack of dawn to hit redial over and over again from 2 or 3 phone lines.

Woohoo!! I'll be seeing you guys at CRT on 12/6, too!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

This is our 1st time, and my dd2 and dniece2 are SOOO excited!!

DH and I both tried this morning for 12/7 and did not get it.:(
We called the second it opened (had been getting the message about being closed) and was on hold for 20 minutes. Of course it was sold out.
Guess I'll try again in a couple of days. I really don't want to try for every single day as I want to take advantage of EMH at other parks. Oh well, I booked Crystal Palace where I actually think the food is a lot better. Just wanted the castle for the princesses. We now have DS (who will be 13 months) and I thought the pictures with him and the princesses would be priceless.
Wish me luck for later in the trip.

I called this morning for 12/7. My mom's only request for her first trip to WDW was to have the Princess breakfast. I called around 6:55 a.m. and listened to the message so I knew exactly what to listen for. Then when the clock on our TV Guide channel hit 6:59 I hit redial and heard the first few words of the closed message. I hung up, counted to 3, then hit redial again. Heard the first few words of the regular recording and my heart leapt to my throat. Pressed 1, and a CM picked up immediately. I was so shocked to hear a real voice instead of the recording. I blurted our 3 adults for Cinderellas Royal Table, first available. She got us a 8:05 table, which is the first available seating, so I must have been one of the first ones through. Only after I hung up did I realize that I probably should have asked for a later seating so the we could take advantage of Early Entry. Oh well, I am thrilled that we got the reservation, and I was really surprised at how easy it was.
