Is Cinderella's stepsisters worth out of pocket

My son and i will not be on the dining plan. We have an ADR for dinner at 1900 faire. I am excited to finally get to see the step sisters BUT 42.89 X2 is a little steep? How is the food? 6 more days until i see the mouse!!!

We went to 1900 Park Fare for our first time in December and found it to be one of the best dinner buffets on property. Food was terrific with a good variety. I couldn't get enough of the salmon and I typically hate salmon lol! The stepsisters and stepmother were absolutely hilarious!!

We would not hesitate to return there again in the future.

I would totally go! If your son is looking for a character meal, this one is awesome! My sons were 9 and 7 when we ate there and it was a highlight of our trip. The step sisters were so great with our boys and while my daughter was mesmerized by Cinderella and the prince. I know it's alot to pay for a meal, but since you're traveling with a son and there's not too many meals catered to boys, this one is worth it!

it is a great meal! i will say that the food is hit and miss. but on our December trip, it was really good. the stepsisters and stepmother are completely worth it.

We enjoyed the character interaction. My DS2 LOVED the stepmother and she was beyond cute with him, even commenting that she cannot be evil with a cute toddler clinging to her. We loved it. Now the food, not so much. It was our 2nd least favorite dinner. It was just nothing special. I am glad we did it because of the characters but DH specifically requested to not go back because of the food.

I am curious about this also. I am wanting to see the characters, but thinking maybe I should save the money and scour the Magic Kingdom for them. Hopefully you will get more input and we can both make a decision.
