is changing villas to/from lodge considered resort hopping?

With all these threads about resort hopping - how many/etc - when ppl change from BCV to/from BC or VWL to/from WL is that considered a hop?
We can check in & out at the same desk - but still need to repack
So do I consider our Aug 13-19 VWL, Aug 19-21 WL & Aug 21-27 as 3 resorts? or 2?
