Is Castaway Club Membership automatic or do you need to join?

Still a bit confused. Have done Disney Cruise before and am going on 1/9/05. Am I automatically in Castaway Club or did I need to join, am I too late? My travel agent not real familiar with this. Everyone's tips have been great so far. Thanks

You automatically become a member. You will have to call DCL to get the member number as I remember reading that they do not issue cards anymore. Make sure you have the original date of travel and the stateroom number when you call. Also make sure that they note in the the current reservation that you have to enable you to get the Castaway Club gift.

We sailed on 11/11/04 and got Castaway Club cards in the mail yesterday, together with a CD of music, pictures, and a screensaver.

the cd is great, this summer was the frist time that they started to mail them out.

We sailed on 11/27/04 and we also got the Castaway Club cards with each of our names on them, on 12/18. The CD is a very nice touch. Using the screensaver at home and going to install on my work computer too.
