....slowing down a bit with the local kids back in school? We arrive next week...so my fingers ( and toes) are crossed.

We did a quick trip on Saturday ... Went through the main gates of DCA at 7:45 am (just before rope drop) and we still managed to do RSR, LFT and MJJ in 65 minutes total time (from the time we entered the RSR queue to the time we exited Maters). We headed over to TSMM and finished all of the above by 9:30 am. You can really get a lot done if you get there early .... Even without early entry

The local kids aren't the crowd creators. The tourist kids from all around the world are. And they are still coming. However, lots of States' schools are back in session, so, yes, it's slowed a little, but it's still very popular and busy. The excruciating heat has slowed the crowds some lately.

I know the excruciating heat has kept all the local AP holders away. At least me and all of my friends. I feel bad for families who planned a trip months ago and had to deal with 90-100 degree temps.
