is Buzz closed????

We are leaving on Sunday (2 days woo hoo!!!) and someone mentioned Buzz lightyear being closed?? Can anyone who went recently verify or deny this??? It is my sons favorite ride (he calls it Buzz Lightyear BAM BAM) and with Star Tours being closed he will already be crushed and Buzz being closed too is going to give us problems. Due to his autism there are few rides he will behave for and those two are about it.

I sure hope not! With Star Wars and Alice closed, I will really be ticked off if this one is as well.

On the other thread someone reported Buzz was open yesterday! I think it was just closed those days last week.

It was open on Wed 7/28...Star Tours and Alice were the only things closed.

Mouseplanet had reported Buzz would be down July 19 to 23. They had nothing about it being down this week. Between that and the fact that people here saw it open 7/28, I think it'll be up and running.

We rode on Buzz this past Sunday, July 25. It is back open after a short refurb.

Buzz reopened on Saturday 7/24. It did not open with the rest of the MM rides, the CMs were fielding questions from expectant guests every time we passed. It opened about 10 min prior to park opening. One CM told us they had replaced the "belt" and were testing it out to make sure all was ok. We had stopped by to ask on Friday if it would be open, the CM didn't act like he was sure that was going to happen, so we were really glad it did as it was our last day.
