I booked under a bounceback at YC for 30% off rack rate. I noticed the AP code came out yesterday and am ASSUMING a disney visa code will mimic it shortly. Another thread suggested that the amount you save on this new ap/visa code is a little misleading. Seems like it is a flat amount off a room rate depending on your category vs. a percentage off. I don't know if the visa/ap code would help - can anyone tell what the % off is on the ap/visa code for 11/29 - 12/5 - which I THINK Is value season? Does it beat the 30% I already have? Could do YC, BC or BWI....Also does CL include on this new discount or again is it just the flat amount per category vs. the % that I already have...Can't tell which is better since I can't access the AP info...THANK YOU!

I'm not sure this helps you as there is no way to know what the Visa discount will be, but I looked up your dates on the AP site. For a standard room at YC 11/29-12/5 the price is $1580 total. It says it is 234.00/night (so before tax). As you click on the discount icon, it says that deluxe rooms during that time are 42% off.:confused3

I booked a moderate for Dec 12th-20th and mine are 40% off.

Thank you for figuring that out for me. I appreciate it. I don't get disney math though. Your quote for 6 nights is 1580 with NO tickets. My bounceback is 2400 WITH 3 sets of tickets. So if I plan to buy my tickets from undercover tourist I add them to the 1580 and my total is 2370 with trip insurance. I assume your 1580 included NO trip insurance and no additional tickets. So my savings is 30.00 But when I booked bounceback it said I saved 30% so how is the AP rate saving 42% when the price is about the same??? Well at least I know I am not missing out on any great savings....Just weird how they do their math...Would there be anyway anyone knows if CL is available on the ap/visa?

It varies a lot.

I've got the bounceback rate reserved for October at BLT. It's $318/nt for a 1br lake view villa that would be $530/nt for that time of year. At the AP rate, it would cost me $394/nt. So, bounceback is giving me 40% off, while AP is only 25% off. But, I'd previously had WL booked for the same week at the bounceback rate and that was 30% off, but the AP rate for the same room seems to be 40% off.

In January 2008, I had an AP rate at WL during value season that was only 25%. I also had a bounceback rate last August at BC for standard view room. When the AP rates came out, the bounceback was better, but only buy a couple dollars a night.

From anyone's experience are the codes/discounts comparible for a cluster of hotels? Meaning since BWI, BC and YC are so close together and same class, would the discounts for these all be pretty equal? Or could one hotel have a 10% difference over another? Can you tell if the AP code is going by a flat rate or a % off - meaning is CL for any of these a good discount or is it a better buy to simply stay standard at a Deluxe...I am pretty set on the Epcot area (so I say) unless WL or AKL just really blew it away on a rate. ANY IDEA if AKL Savannah is on "sale"? during 11/29 - 12/5? THANK YOU!

Just random numbers I checked on the passholder site for your dates:

AKL standard: $139
AKL pool view: $169
AKL savannah bunk bed: $234

BC standard: $234
BC water: $304

YC garden CL: $276
YC lagoon CL: $327

BWI garden suite CL: $529

BC/YC/BWI standard/water/etc. are same rate across hotels, so I didn't include those. No club available at BC.

BWV/BCV studio: $209
BWV/BCV 1br: $324
